Hi I intend to perform MRI VBM followed by PLS. So I would like to input the image files which have already been generated by FSL VBM to PLS. But I am not sure which files are appropriate.... For example, the GM_mod_merg file? Also, the standard template or the template generated by fsl vbm? Anyone with this kind of experience? Thanks a lot!

Hi jieyu chuang You can use whichever dataset you prefer - PLS for structural can take as input any segmentation results (e.g., gray-matter probabilities). The only restrictions are that all data are in the same template space, and that you have a mask that defines "brain" as we consider zeros to be true zeros (not background) so the choice of template is up to you. Any pre-processing (e.g., smoothing) should be done prior to PLS as well. hope that helps, nancy
