Dear Randy,

I have read that paper carfully and that's why it sounds astonishing to me.By the way,I mean is that sounds abnormal that SPM misses  those regions with largest positive bootstrap ratio?I mean in your paper, the largest positive bootstrap ratio for ST-PLS is not the same location as the largest z scores, but still exist during SPM analysis but in my case it was not detected at all.

Perhaps you can check the areas in question in PLS to see if they show a response function that would not be well-captured by a canonical HRF.
