Dear PLS users,

can anybody let me know how can I see temporal brain score with CI? I know that you have developed brain score with CI but this seems to be an average score across the time for each trail.Can anybody provide me a method to be able to plot temporal brain scores with CI which means brain score during temporal window with CI for each trail?

thanks

  1. Check single subject analysis in Create Datamat window;
  2. Select mean-centering PLS option and run bootstrap test in run PLS window;
  3. Click Task PLS Brain Scores with CI under Windows menu in result window.

Dear Jimm,
 Your method seems to have two problems.First,it just check for one subject but I have 10 subjects which make a group.
second,I have done the analysis and I don't want to redo it.
so to clarify more,I have plotted my temporal brain score consisted of 8 TR for 3 different condition.what I want now is the error bar on the average plot for each time point when I select group 1(consisted of 10 subjects) for the datamat.

Thanks for your help inadavance.

In order to view CI plot, you need to run bootstrap test. If you don't want to redo the analysis, you do not have bootstrap information in your result file, and you are not able to view CI plot.

If you have more than one subject, you cannot use "single subject" method, and all trials will be averaged together.

Currently, only the information of "Task PLS Brain Scores with CI" is computed and stored in the result file. The information that you requested is not computed, and we currently do not have plan to include that. I wish that it would be included someday in the future, if your suggestion had been adopted. Thanks for your suggestion anyway.
