PLS experts,

I have some doubt about defining a temporal window for our E.R.fMRI data. Each trials in our design will last for 6 sec and TR=1.5, thereby, according to the previous method papers using PLS, an appropriate temporal window would be 6/1.5=4TR. but , I specified 7 TR for the hrf to get manifasted.I definitely agree that there might be more than one trial within 7TR that I have specified, but,I believe that PLS can probabely handle superimposed hrf and thereby we can trust on the results using larger temporal window (7TR) ?

Any idea would be appreciated!
Pedram

Hello Pedram,
I have had such a similar question . I would say under the certain assumption that trials coming with your main trial during 7TR,are distributed randomly between the conditions you have, any impact on the BOLD could be counted as noise.
I hope that can help!
