Hi all ~ I wanted to inquire whether you're aware of any practical functional/effective connectivity workshops in the works. I am thinking of something akin to the FSL imaging course (or UCLA NITP course, or Steve Luck's bootcamp for EEG) - in which theoretical view is provided but, more importantly, there is also an opportunity to try out various packages (to actually see the implementation). I am aware of the PLS workshop, and realize that Victor Jirsa had a dynamics course - but an overview style 1-wk course is what I am really looking for. It seems there are enough validated methodologies (at least with particular applications) that such a course would be warranted.

Perhaps you know if something of this sort is in the works?

Best ~
Agatha

There isn't anything that is exactly what you are looking for.  The various meetings on connectivity (Brain Connectivity Workshop  http://www.hirnforschung.net/bcw/ , Resting State connectivity workshops http://www.restingstate.com/) do have a some aspects of a tutorial but these are usually one day sessions.  There is often something related at OHBM, but these are usually quite condensed.

It does seem like this would be an idea to develop however.  Finding funding for it is always an issue of course.
