Hi,

I have trouble loading a PLS results file for PET data I created earlier after my laptop needed to be formatted and reinstalled. The data were copied off and back on to my laptop, but the path and the matlab version I am using remained the same.

Nevertheless, after clicking "show PLS results for PET data" and choosing the .mat file, I get the following message:
"One or more datamat files are newer than their timestamp stored in the result file. If you believe that the datamat files are just touched (eg due to copy) but not modified, you can click 'proceed all'".

As I believe this is exactly the case, I clicked 'proceed all', but then I get the following error message:
"can not save new timestamp".

Any ideas how to solve this problem?

Many thanks in advance.

Best wishes,

Lukas

First, the message that you got is a typical message after you made a copy of session / datamat / resultmat files without preserve the timestamp. It is very useful to remind people to re-run PLS analysis after modifying datamats, since many people got error message simply because they forgot to re-run the PLSgui after modifying the datamats. So we need this prompt window.

The second error message "can not save new timestamp" is also not unusual. It simply means that at that time, the program cannot overwrite the file. In most cases, it is because of the computer glitch, and it should go away after try later. If the problem persistent, please check if the files are read-only. If not, please send me the files and I will look into it for you.
