The Rotman MRI, run by the Rotman Research Institute at the Baycrest Academy for Research and Education, is a research-dedicated neuroimaging facility focussed on using the latest MRI techniques to study the human brain.
The Rotman MRI has a strong focus on advanced neuroimaging techniques, and specializes in psychological research studies. We run academic research studies for both Rotman Scientists and researchers from a variety of external academic and clinical institutions across Ontario, as well as Clinical Research Trials in collaboration with the Baycrest CCRT.

Rotman MRI Staff
The Rotman MRI has a team ready to assist you throughout your MRI Project, from implementing your experiment on our hardware to optimizing your MRI protocol for your specific research goals. The KL Care team at Baycrest offers a variety of complimentary services including experiment design and programming, participant recruitment, project running, and data analysis.
Facility and Equipment
Learn more about our newly renovated suite and state-of-the-art Siemens 3T Prisma MRI Scanner. We also have many new and fully integrated ancillary research systems including EEG-fMRI, Eye-Tracking, Physiological Recording, Visual and Auditory Stimulus Presentation, Participant Response and Monitoring, Dedicated Stimulus Computers, and an MRI Simulator mirroring our scanner environment.
